Terms and Conditions

Find My Barber is a directory and discovery service. We help you find local barbers and, when a barber is accepting new clients, we link you to that barber's own external booking page.

We do not process bookings or payments on the site, we are not a party to any appointment or transaction between you and a barber, and we do not provide barbering services ourselves.

The current directory beta is free. Separate booking providers set their own appointment prices and cancellation rules. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy before making a payment elsewhere.

Matching uses the preferences you provide and barber-supplied information. Optional AI assistance can be inaccurate. A match score is a comparison, not a guarantee or a customer rating. We do not publish customer star ratings or testimonials in this version. Nothing here restricts honest reviews or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Barber profiles are submitted by barbers or imported with permission. A profile review checks intake criteria; it is not a background check or a guarantee of image ownership, qualifications, availability, or results. A Licensed Barber badge records an administrative verification status at the time of review, not a promise of current license status. Check current license status with the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology before relying on it. We do not employ or guarantee barbers. Approval of a listing means it met our basic intake requirements, not that we vouch for it.

Any appointment, service, price, or arrangement is solely between you and the independent barber. You are responsible for evaluating a barber before booking.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or submit a quiz, profile, or waitlist request. Accounts use a one-time email login link or optional Google sign-in; keep access to your email secure, as anyone with it can sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or impersonating listings or information.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the service.
• Submit spam, abuse, harassment, or unlawful content.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights, including uploading photos you do not have the right to use.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to disrupt the service or its security.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Barbers are additionally responsible for keeping their profile accurate and for providing a valid http(s) booking link. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain the rights you hold in the content you submit, including profile details and portfolio images. By submitting it, you grantFind My Barber a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, resize, and display that content, and to let our service providers do so on our behalf, only as needed to operate the directory. This includes showing an approved barber's portfolio publicly; it does not authorize unrelated advertising. Public use ends when the content is removed, subject to reasonable cache removal time. Limited backup or legal records may remain as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permission from identifiable people shown, including a parent or legal guardian where required for a child. Do not upload copied work or images presented as results you did not produce.

Decorative graphics on our homepage illustrate the directory. They do not depict a listed barber's premises or demonstrate that barber's work.

Find My Barber is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, to the extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate or current, that a barber is available or qualified, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find My Barber and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the directory. Appointment and payment disputes generally concern the independent provider, but this does not exclude our responsibility for our own conduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful injury, violations of law, or other liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To report a barber listing (for abuse, inaccurate information, or to request removal), email support@findmybarber.app. If you are a barber and want your own listing taken down, contact us from the email on your account. We review removal requests and act on valid ones; broader in-app reporting and moderation tools are planned.

For a copyright, privacy, or image-permission concern, include the listing or image URL, a description of the concern and the work or person affected, and a way to contact you. Do not send identity documents or additional sensitive images unless we explain why they are necessary. This support contact is not represented as a registered DMCA agent. We may restrict disputed content while reviewing a report and may suspend repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continuing to use Find My Barber after an update is subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights.
