Terms of Service

Find My Barber is a directory and discovery service. We help you find local barbers and, when a barber is accepting new clients, we link you to that barber's own external booking page.

We do not process bookings or payments on the site, we are not a party to any appointment or transaction between you and a barber, and we do not provide barbering services ourselves.

Barber profiles are submitted by the barbers themselves. We do not employ, endorse, guarantee, or independently verify any barber, their qualifications, their availability, or their work. Approval of a listing means it met our basic intake requirements, not that we vouch for it.

Any appointment, service, price, or arrangement is solely between you and the independent barber. You are responsible for evaluating a barber before booking.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Accounts use a one-time email login link; keep access to your email secure, as anyone with it can sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or impersonating listings or information.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the service.
• Submit spam, abuse, harassment, or unlawful content.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights, including uploading photos you do not have the right to use.
• Interfere with, probe, or attempt to disrupt the service or its security.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Barbers are additionally responsible for keeping their profile accurate and for providing a valid http(s) booking link. We may remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You keep ownership of the content you submit (profile details, portfolio images, quiz photos). By submitting it, you grant Find My Barber a limited license to host and display it as needed to operate the service, for example, showing an approved barber's portfolio in the public directory. You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit.

Find My Barberis provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings are accurate or current, that a barber is available or qualified, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Find My Barber and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of the service or any interaction with a barber. Because we are only a directory, you agree that any dispute over an appointment, service, or payment is between you and the barber.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Find My Barber and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

To report a barber listing (for abuse, inaccurate information, or to request removal), email support@findmybarber.app. If you are a barber and want your own listing taken down, contact us from the email on your account. We review removal requests and act on valid ones; broader in-app reporting and moderation tools are planned.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continuing to use Find My Barber after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
